Pat Kenny our founder has loved shooting videos and editing since an early age. His dad bought one of the first home video cameras for Christmas in 1977 and he has been hooked ever since. Pat studied broadcast engineering in college and has a passion for technology and storytelling

A Legacy Video is a memoir on video that captures a parent, grandparent or multiple family members sharing life stories, family history and memories for younger generations to know. We incorporate family photos and produce a beautiful video that can be considered a modern-day heirloom your family will treasure for generations to come.
Every family has a few skeletons and while some don’t mind them being part of family lore, others do. Once I start the editing process, you will be able to view the movie and provide feedback. I will simply edit out any information you wish to keep private
Yes, we will travel to your location within 90 miles of New York City. If you would like another location outside the New York Metropolitan area we will estimate additional travel and expenses costs
From start to finish it typically takes a month. The questions are sent in advance so the person being interviewed can prepare. The interview session is a half day. After the the interview we will share the video with so you can provide feedback when we do the editing. We will ask that you share some photos that will be incorporated into the video, which usually takes the most time since there are probably lots of pictures in different formats that you need to gather. There are no dealines or time limits. Take your time and we will work around your schedule.
We shoot the video in High Resolution (4K). The pictures are professionally scanned and touched up to remove unwanted artifacts. You will receive a private secure hyperlink that can be used to display on any computer and most smart TV's. We will provide you 5 USB drives with the finished 4K MP4 video for additional sharing and safekeeping
We have a list of sample questions that we will share in advance. Feel free to add or omit questions that will enhance the video.
